Bob was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on September 20, 1948. He attended Indiana University and received his bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1975. After four years with Ernst & Ernst, Bob started his own accounting practice, Zurface, Swan & Company. Over twenty years later, Bob is still practicing with ZSR. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. His areas of expertise include individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary taxation as well as audits of insurance organizations, not-for-profit companies and pension plans. In addition to his professional activities, Bob has stayed involved in his community. He served as president for the North Indianapolis Sertoma Club and remains a member. He also was involved with Optimist International and Mount Vernon Youth Baseball. Bob and his wife Janey live on the east side of Indianapolis with their three children, Tony, Danny, and Matt. His favorite hobbies are fishing and vacationing in Canada.
