Jim Cline is a partner with LM Henderson & Company, focusing on audit and accounting services for medium sized organizations. Jim provides direction for audits and reviews of financial statements and advises clients in operating, strategic planning, internal control and organizational matters. In addition, Jim provides management advisory services and directs special projects and consulting engagements for both business owners and not for profit executives. Jim has been with L.M. Henderson since 1987 and a partner since 1995.
Jim received a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University in 1985. He began his career as a member of the Indiana Utility Consumer Counselor's technical staff. Jim is committed to maintaining his technical expertise in audit and assurance services for not for profit, employee benefit plans and financial reporting through continuing professional education. Jim is licensed in the State of Indiana as a Certified Public Accountant and as an investment advisor representative of Henderson Investment Advisors, LLC, a registered investment advisor with the Indiana Securities Division.
Jim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society. As a member of the Indiana Society, Jim has served in numerous leadership roles, including past member of the Board of Directors, AIPCA Vision Planning Task Force, and Leadership Cabinet. He is currently a standing member on the Ethics Committee. Jim is past president of the Indianapolis Alumni Chapter of Sigma Chi and a current Board member and he currently serves as Treasurer for the Sigma Chi housing corporation in Bloomington, Indiana. Jim is also actively involved with the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis and currently serves as the Board Chairman of the Hamilton County YMCA - Fishers branch.
